Strategic Guitar Coaching (All levels)

Before your first session, I will come prepared with an overview of your goals, the music that inspires you, and your previous successes and challenges. I will also learn about areas that you believe might help your growth. Based on that, I will develop your personal plan, which we will evaluate together during our first session. 

The five coaching sessions are curated to benefit your personal progress and schedule. In between sessions, we communicate over email to support your ongoing development. You are also welcome to send videos or voice memos to receive feedback or new material.

Possible subjects of your tailored course may include key skill sets such as improvisation, chord melody, unlocking the guitar neck and music theory. Most importantly, it will also encourage creativity and individual expression.

We use efficient goal-setting and tried-and-tested learning techniques that smooth your learning curve.

After completing the course, expected results include increased musical confidence, long-lasting improvement in your topics of interest and having found solutions to your musical problems.

Upon completing the course, our goal is to establish long-lasting improvement in your areas of focus and a fundamental increase in your musical confidence.

  • Improvisation, phrasing, how to create melodies or motifs

  • Unlocking the guitar neck, scales, arpeggios, melodic cells, sequences

  • Voicings, chord-melody, chord-changes

  • Pure technique such as picking-technique, left-hand-technique, legato, how to be more relaxed when playing

  • Practical music theory and ear training

  • Composing, arranging

  • Timing, rhythmic concepts

  • Song analysis and active listening to hear music in new ways 

  • How to incorporate the music you love in your own playing

  • Jazz repertoire, jazz language, transcribing

This two-month bootcamp aims to help you harness your musical creativity from your very first session. You will learn practical and easy-to-use strategies for songwriting and/or music production, using your musical tastes and personal goals as a framework. Using the methods of leading songwriters and producers, we will build a strong foundation for your development into an independent music creator.

In between sessions, you can request my feedback concerning the music you’re working on. I’ll function as a creative guide, offering tips and ideas to improve your songs or increase your workflow.

As your personal coach, I’ll keep you on track through the entire creative process and help you reach all the way to finish songs you’re proud of.
